Yes, even another newb! Hello all, this is a great forum - one of the best. I was lurking around here to get info on what bike to buy. So today, I registered and decided to come out of the woodwork.

My first bike:


2006 Ninja 500R with 528miles when I purchased it. It now has 935+ miles - aaaaaallllmost broken in! Can't wait to take it past 6k!

Oh, believe me - I AM slow! No question........I think a few more months, get comfortable on the freeway, then it's off to CLASS riders school.

500 is a good starter bike but im sure you gonna want something a lil more sleeker and how can i put it much faster like blue LOL

LOL - oh yea - I was pricing a ZX10R the other day [8D]....trying to figure out my payments......sigh. AND it was in that Plasma Blue color [:-]

BUT, I'm glad I started on the 500, no doubt I would have killed myself by now if I started on a newer 600. I've got to keepthe 500for at least a year before I upgrade. That's the trouble with good credit, the only thing stopping you is self control.[:@]
