Whats up guys! I'm Brett and i recently bought this klx250 that has been sitting in a barn for the past 5 years without storage prep. I'm excited to get it running and start learning how to ride. Took the MSF class and had a great time. Always wanted to ride street and dirt and the time is finally right. I also have a track prepped S2000.... If the 2 wheeled bug bites me I may end up with more room for bikes

I'll post some photos when I get it back together. It's cosmetically kind of rough, got spraypaint and monster stickers all over it. But less than 5k miles and clean otherwise. Changed out all the fluids, new battery (old one wouldn't hold), and waiting on a new gas tank to see if it will start. Looking forward to learning a lot from this forum

Hey Brett, welcome to the forums! I bought the first KLX in the town near me back in November of 05 and I have 17,000 miles on it. I still love the bike. I just installed a new back tire last week, and ordered a new chain. Heading to Central Oregon in May for some off road riding with my cousin. You can check out some of my past and a lot of other ride reports from members on the ride reports section. The problem with a lot of my reports is Photobucket tried to hold my pictures for ransom, so a lot of the pictures in those reports now have red x's in them. "Thanks Obama" LOL Anyway, I kind of got off topic there. Keep us up to date on the bike. Later man!
