Good evening all! My name is Amanda and I recently bought a 06 ninja ZX6R. I am in need of advice since my bike didn't come with a manual. I'd like to know how to successfully change my oil and what is the best oil to use. Also I am interest in the best full coverage insurance provided in the greater San Diego area. As well as any suggestions for the best anti-theft device I can purchase.

3. What do you do for a living? Animal Health Technician for the USDA. I also waitress at the Tilted Kilt on weekends. And I'm a full time college student

7. If you are old enough....what is your favorite "drink"? Blue Moon, but I love all beer with the exceptions of IPA

8. What is your favorite color? Black is my favorite non color but Red is my favorite color

9. Who is your favorite band / favorite CD? Tool, Slipknot, Rage Against the Machine, Cold, Five Finger Death Punch, Mudvayne, Katy Perry. I am a lover of music I can go on and on.

10. What is your favorite movie? Oh, thats a tough one. I'd have to say Fight Club because I can watch that movie over and over again.

11. What is your favorite TV show? I don't have time for TV

12. Any pets, if yes, what? No pets. But I prefer dogs, big dogs.

13. What other hobbies are you into? Video games, shooting range, Comedy clubs, hiking, going to the beach.

14. What was your first bike? 94 Suzuki DR 650 SE

15. Who or what inspired you to ride? my first boyfriend

16. How long have you been riding? 11 for dirt bikes, 16 for street bikes. My bf taught me on his Honda Shadow.

Welcome! Congrats on the new bike. If you plan on doing most of the repairs or maintenance yerself, I would buy the kawasaki repair manual. Buy it from kawi though, the clymers and all others are dumb. Yea the kawi manual is expensive but well worth the info and step by step instructions. I have progressive insurance they seem to be the best out there for bikes. I dont have full coverage on my bike though. Theft devices, dont get a cheap one. I had an 05 6r and I loved it and now miss it. Very good bikes. I bought mine brand new and put over 20k on it. It was drag raced and road raced and never gave me a bit of probs. Enjoy your ride, def one of the better lookin ninjas out there.
