I recently purchased a 1980 KZ1000 Z! Classic, Fuel injected bike, looking for good sources for aftermarket parts. bike has 2800 miles on it. Took it for a first ride noticed the brakes seemed very mushy, looks like some leaking thru the caliper pistons. looks like i need to rebuild all 3. l Went to the dealer and these things are obsolete according to the local Kawasaki dealer. Also looking for a center stand.
Also the owners manual looks like crap, was stored under the seat and looks in not so good shape would love to buy a new one or a reproduction. Already ordered a shop manual and the supplement.
Would also like to find a reputable mechanic that can work on older Kawasaki's in the Long beach Ca area if anyone has any recommendations
