I just started riding last year .I am 38 years old . My friend was selling a cr 125 last year so I bought it figuring to make some money .Well I took it camping here in San Diego to a place called Lark Canyon / McCains Valley .Now a year later I still own the cr 125,I bought my fiance a suzuki ltz 250 quad and last week I bought a 09 KLX 250S . 0 miles, beautiful machine.I love the similarity as far as weight and manuverability compared to my 125.I am not looking to race motorcross .But I do like to ride hard. I feel with a few minor upgrades. This is the perfect bike for me.I am only 5 foot 9 130.Its like a 15 year old riding this bike.I am very happy with my purchase.

Welcome to the forums man, and congrats on a great bike. It just takes a few mods to really wake up this beast in hiding. Simple and inexpensive are of course the sprocket changes from the stock to say a 13-45 setup. Then after you ride the bike like that for a while, and are wanting more, then its a jetting and exhaust upgrade and tweaking the air box in a variety of different ways to achieve that awesome power that we all crave. Good luck man, and post up a picture of your bike and the fiance's quad......preferably with her on it LOL. Again welcome man!

You just remined me of my dirt bike days! Happy days indeed. Welcome!
I've been a member for a few weeks cause of a problem with my '05 ZX6R. The very first reply was from one of the senior members and he helped me with my problem. I tell ya, this is not just a place to exchange thoughts and ideas but a great place to get help on your bike!
Ride on!
