I recently moved from the East Coast back to the Midwest. I sold my SeayRay for a 2006 Mean Streak in July of 2006 after completing a MSF course in May 2006. I did not get much ride time in the 2006 season due to moves, new job and other necessary but "not-fun" diversions. I have ridden motorcycles off and on in the past, mostly off-road, so this is my first street bike which, so far, has seemed like a decent choice. I simply could not justify forking out the extra $$$'s for the HD name and had a real hard time with the HD "this is the price take it or leave it" attitude.

I'm really looking forward to doing some extensive riding in the upcoming season and continue to go out on decent days this winter. Any tips or advice you cn give me on things I should pay particular attention to specific to the Mean Streak would be most welcome.

I look forward to participating in the forum and have throughly enjoyed what I have read so far.

Reggie

Welcome to KF! Don't know much about the Mean Streak but I'm sure you'll come across a few members that might have some info to share.

Enjoy the new bike - that's the best piece of advice I can give
