Aloha everyone! i am new to the dual sport world as i just got a 2009 klx250s dual sport!!!!
ive been riding street bikes since 2011. i started off with a 2004 ninja 250. upgraded to a 07 ninja 650. wanted a different look so i sold that and got a 09 yamaha fz6r (still have and trying to sell) that i hardly ride any more just because on kauai, you dont really need a sport bike... you need something to go offroad!!!! so after searching for about 2 months, i managed to score a deal on a used 2009 klx250s for $2200. it only had 9k miles and faded plastics and soon needs a front tire..

at any rate, i have been reading forums via google to learn more about the different performance mods and to learn more about carbs as ive never really tinkered with them before. my brother shimmed the needles on my 04 ninja 250 so i had no motivation to learn how to do it myself..

needless to say, i decided to join the forum to gain access to information and resources based on others' experiences.

this will be my budget build so im trying to do all the free mods and possible keep expenses as low as possible.
