Default New - Happy to be here!

Hey everyone, new here and semi-new to bikes. Rode a few bikes when I was a little kid when I went up for the summer to my cousin's house. Never got a chance to own one till recently. I'm purchasing my first bike this weekend, a 1974 175cc Enduro. Very excited about it, needs very minor things fixed. So I figured I'd come here for some advice and to talk to some people who share the same interests. I was going to get a Ninja 250 or a CBR600 (almost got talked into one by my friend) but my girlfriend talked me out of a streetbike and would rather watch me go crazy on a track or trail riding or on the dunes, haha, guess I don't blame her... Street bikes are pretty dangerous, so is any bike though.

But anyway, SO here I am!

[sm=welcomesign.gif] The dirt is the perfect place to hone your riding skills. The dirt doesnt hurt as bad as the asphalt. Plus its lots of fun too.
