Hello everyone! My name is Jim and I'm new obviously. I've ridden friends' bikes many times, but finally convinced the wife to let me get a small bike to ride back and forth to work cheaply. Yes I had to get permission from the boss, I admit it. HA HA. Anyhow I ended up buying a 2001 KE100 for a few hundred bucks. So far I love it, but want a Ninja like no other, but that'll take a lot of convincing I think!

 

Welcome, Jim. Glad to hear you've entered the 2-wheel world! Hone your skills on the 100; (no, not the knee-dragging triple digit kind.) It's the "riding safe on the street" kind. Trust me, you will eventually get your Ninja, and probably be a better rider for your humble beginnings. Your wife will see how responsible you are, and support your upgrading to a bigger bike. Convince by your example. Trust me on this one...

Upgrading? A person isallowed to have at least 3 rides in the garage! It is the $200 here or the $2500 there that really adds to the flames! hehe again, welcome!
