Hey guys,

Im new to the forum and this is about to be my first bike...that i have owned. I am in the process of getting a zx9r 2001 and i was looking for some info on the bike. Just looking for somethings that might be be known from just riding the bike. Looking for mechanical things as well as recalls or anything.. Any help would be great

I hope to be a long time member of the forum. Thanks guys and girls and maybe both.......???

Hi drummer boy welcome to KF! I assume you play drums?. My brother is a drummer too. Matter of fact my shop is where he practices. Anyhow good luck with the 9.

Welcome man, but you are looking at the wrong bike, what you need is one of these, Unless you don't have any dual riding areas, then go ahead and get the other one. But you will always wonder how the other half lives.

haha thats funny, i really dont have dual riding area's but if i did i will most definitly come take yours for a nice joy ride

Welcome to the forums !! The 9 is a dang near bullet proof bike. I don't know of any common problems to be enough of an issue to be associated with the 9... Nice bikes.
