Default New to the game

Hello everyone,
I'm new at this, so it will take a little time getting use to. I bought a 07 ZX6R last year and I'm getting to really ride it this spring. I want to make some quick modes to it. I want a slip on exhaust that is loud. i don't know which one to go with, and I was wanting to know if I needed to have a power commander install when getting a new exhaust.

jardine is pretty loud, the yosh r-55 is loud, graves has a good sound to it and is still loud. You dont need a power comander when you put on a new exhaust.

Welcome to the KF family. The first mod you need to do is get into a MSF course, which will help you fix that loose nut behind the gas tank. J/K, but seriously, I'm not kidding. I don't know much about mods, but wanted to take a minute to welcome you to the only assylum run by the inmates.

LOL rocket..

welcome bro!!

you don't NEED to add a p.c. to your bike with a slip-on, nor really, a full exhaust, but it does help, even without any mods.. a power commander is a well rounded investment regardless of mods and additions. tunability is key when playinwith this stuff.

but i wholly agree with Mr. Rotary there.. gotta play it safe, otherwise you won't be around for long to enjoy that nice new bike..
