new to forum
my name is jim. ive got an 08 zx6 and an 04 kx250f. been dirtbikes sinces i was like 3 or 4, been on streetbikes for about 4 or 5 years. about the bikes..
i bought my zx6, green with green rims, new last year from local dealership on june 5th and had about 1100 miles on it then wrecked and totaled it july 5th
.... bought back from insurance and have been repairing and modding since then. so far ive got yoshi rs5, race pipe mod(cat removed and pipe welded in between), pcm iii, working on custom tail lights/blinkers, new pilot powers, rear tail and front fender painted flat black, side fairing currently off and workin on fixin a few small holes and cracks, a little bit of pinstriping on fairings and wheels and ninja decals removed from upper fairing, thats about it so far, still gotta get a new windshield and front fender. also lookin for some cam upgrades if any one has any suggestions, found a performance set on kawasaki website, dont really know to much about them just says performance for upgrade power??
for the 250f i bought it last september and a left over demo bike. runs and rides great. ive put on protaper bars, and protaper +2 rear sprocket. other than that pretty much all stock

Hey Jim, welcome to the forums man. Nice looking pair of bikes you got there. If only there was a bike that could combine the joys of road and dirt......wait a minute...I have heard of such a bike, the KLX!!!

Have fun around here and glad you found this place. There are a lot of crazies....me of course not withstanding, and some really great people on here that you will soon learn to appreciate as crazy as the rest. Later man!

yea i love them both, thanks.
the zx is currently undergoing some mild upgrades and new paint. goin with all white with some black in the middle of the fairings...should look prety darn sexy when im all done. ill try an get some pics whne finished but might be a lil while as im pretty new to body work so tryin to get it all perfect takes a lil while... also added in some kawi race cams, thinner head gasket, shorter velocity stacks and a custom map/tune
