New To Bikes, And This Site
hey, my name is dan, i moved to arizona for school feb 5th for school. i go to uti for auto/diesel. my roommate moved down with me, he goes to mmi for motorcycles. he rides a 2005 cbr f4i with sprocket and slip on. i have rode is bike and my brothers 2007 r6r and loved bikes since. i decided i wanted to get a liter bike for my first one so i picked up this 1998 zx9r for my first bike. since i have gotten it i have put 1300 miles on it in the past week. learning it pretty quickly, and loving it. just put a new rear tire on, and its at the shop getting new rear wheel bearings and spacers as we speak. its got a aftermarket header, and muzzy slip on. plus a bunch of other little things that dont do much. i ride with a group called the nomads, i have hit up a few mountain runs with them. got on here to learn more about these bikes..
p.s. those wondering about my name, tilikum is the name of the killer whale that ate the lady at sea world a few weeks ago.

welcome to KF. there are a lot of experienced zx9 owners in here to help you out.
ps: That fish ate that gal? Maybe you should have posted your name as Chummer or something? I do feel for her families' loss. Unfortunate and the dangers of the trade.

Tili, welcome to the forums! I've got an old '95 zx9 that I've been riding forever. I love this bike. It's not the latest and greatest, but it's bulletproof.
If I can be of help, don't hesitate.
Glad to have you aboard. Give us some pics!
Gear up; stay safe.
