New biker on the block!!
Be the bike.. Haha just messing with ya. Actually in some bike manuals it tells you how to ride the motorcycle. But you might not want the bike... It will become an addiction. Soon enough you will be buying new everything for it. Have you ridden before, or is this a first time for everything?
Well the clutch thing can be difficult, but just stick with it and don't get frustrated... Rome wasn't built in a day, but thats just because Chuck Norris tore it down the first day. When starting out you should start with a rev about 500 over the idle RPM and if it stalls go another 500 over that until you just get it to move, then from there you can get it smoother so you are not scared of over revving it and flipping. Let the clutch out smooth and slow, when you feel the RPM's drop and the bike start to move, don't be afraid to give it a little more gas. If you get highly frustrated you can always start pushing the bike forward or go down a hill with the clutch in and just let it out as you go down the hill.
Welcome to KF. Always wear good gear, always keep your head on tight (don't get caught up in the stupid crap,) and alwaystry to leave yourself an escape route. Remember; you go where you look.
Enjoy the ride.
Enjoy the ride.
Same concept, different application. So yea. Actually I couldn't really drive my dad's subaru until I learned how to use a dirt bike clutch. I would always stall it.
