I just bought an '08 KLR 650. I live in San Francisco so there's plenty of urban hills to climb.If someone has any sound opinions on possible mods for my bike to aid me in the urban jungle, I'd be grateful.

how do those ride/preform in general? my dad wants one to take over his 55 mile ride to work everyday and something to keep up with me on the traile (not gonna happen... but he likes to pretend

Welcome to the forums. Get a flashing tail light for the 650, it just may be the best mod of all time.
