Default klx250s

Hi every one I have just recently bought a klx250s 2009 and was wondering if 16000km was to much for how much I paid which was 2800, I am also having problems with the electric start the battery seems to be making a weird clicking noise and my bike wont start does anyone have any ideas as this is my first bike and dont have a clue about it thank heaps

Welcome to KF and congrats on the new ride.

On the price thing, it is a good price if you are happy with the ride.

Check your battery connections, put a charger on it and see if that helps. Good chance that the battery needs replaced.

Replaced the battery cleaned the carburetor changed spark plug and fuel oil and air filter and she still wont start sounds like it wants to but wont don't know what else to do with it

Have you gotten a manual yet for your ride? Check out the manual section or even the klx section.

What is the voltage to your starter relay? A weak voltage from your starter button due to dirty contacts will also cause an issue.

Welcome to the forums, so you replaced the battery? Did you charge it all the way before trying to use it? And if so what and where is the noise coming from? If its just clicking, then you might have other issues. I think I would pull the plug and then see if it will crank over. If not you might have a motor that is hung up. You could also have a starter solenoid that is not making good contact. In fact I take back pulling the plug, you need to pull the starter and bench test that thing. Then let us know what happens.
