Default Is KLR 650 Right for Me?

I am interested in the KLR 650, mainly because it seems to be such a successful bike for Alex Chicon. Okay, so I am thinking of changing HOW I ride too.

Currently I ride a cruiser (Yamaha VStar 1300 Tourer) that is smooth on the highway, HEAVY, and a bit BIG for my garage and maneuvering around.

I want to have a smaller bike that is versatile for good to rough roads.

Any advice here on my anticipated fall/winter shopping?

Cheers mates!

It depends on your needs. But the KLR 650 is an inexpensive model that is perfect for use on paved and unpaved roads. So I guess, you won't go wrong with it.
