Hey guys. So I have a 1993 super sport xi. Two years ago I rebuilt the entire engine. The engine worked great until last year when I sucked up some weeds and it started to over heat. The engine wouldn’t shut off so I choked it. Now it won’t stay running. I changed plugs new carb and new CDI box. The reed valves look fine and seem to work. Installed new gaskets on carb and reed valves. Compression is at 150 on both pistons. It’s getting spark but not sure if that’s part of the issue. I can get it to start only with starter fluid but then it dies even after I give a little gas. Sometimes it works for a littl bit but doesn’t last long. I’m all out of ideas. Any help would be great.
