Intro
Hey Everyone,
New to this forum, but have been riding bikes on and off for some time now.
Initially started riding 50cc mopeds before advancing to a Yamaha Offroad 125cc and Yamaha RD-125 street bike.
Also had some experience and training in Europe as an army motorcycle ordinance with old Jawa 400cc 2 stroke motorcycles that were quite the "treat" to ride. Half the time you would be pushing instead of riding.
My next purchase was a Yamaha FZR400R which was a blast to ride and perfect size for my 165 lbs frame at the time. After doing some stupid stuff on it (dumping it and riding drunk), I sold it to help pay for my college tuition.....sad day....but probably a smart move..lol
After a 14 year break, I'm back in the game now with a 07-KLX250s. Typically only like to goof off on bikes, so trail riding is best/safer for me. I figured that a tree @ 30 mph is probably easier to dodge then a transport truck @ 150 mph.
Currently doing the basic mods to the bike, putting the ***** back into it. This forum has been a wealth of knowledge, so I thought I should introduce myself properly since I plan to be on here quite a bit.
I'm 34 and located in Nananimo, BC - Canada. (Vancouver Island).

I'm relatively new to the island (4 months). But the major spots on the pics I did recognize. Great place to ride cuz of all the logging roads, although I'm sure you weren't surprised about the rainy weather...lol
Thanks for the warm welcomes....
aaaaaahahahaha yes the guys in the KLX section work very hard on the first thread
