Hey guys, I went out today and lost my damn keys to my bike. Now does anyone know how much it costs for a locksmith to make a new one or if it is even possible... cuz I dont think I have the damn money. I have only had the bike for like 4 days!! this is a catastrophy!!

 

I'm sure a lock smith can make a key for it. Did you buy it new, or maybe the previous owner wrote down the key code number? O, Welcome to KF

no I dont know the key code and the previous owner is dead... he got in a shoot out with the police. I have been calling all around and there is no locksmiths around that make keys for bikes.

 

That's precisely why I have multiple sets of key for everything I own. I hand them out to friends like candy. Sorry to hear about that, but the dealer might be able to look it up and have one made by VIN #. Good luck man.

 

the dealer would defitnitly be able to get a key for you based on the VIN, good luck that let us know what you do to resolve it

 

I got drunk about two weeks ago and lost my keys. I pulled a stupid move and never took the spare off the keyring. I figured in my drunken parking lot wandering i snagged it on something and it fell off. I flipped out after looking through my room and neighbors apartment for hours and hours so I went out and bought a lock/chain for the wheels. Keep in mind this entire time I was wearing flip flops - So I go back inside later that day and went to put my shoes on and I was like "ouch wtf was that." Look down in my shoe, and there's my keys. No clue how they got there lol.

 

Nice find. When my kids were little, they always put my husbands keys in his shoes.
