Hit my bike

Hit my bike
had a car reverse into my bike. My front fender is trashed, my kick stand is tweaked and my front tire isn't lined up right. Do I go to the dealer for this? I only have liability for insurance so I figure I'm not covered. Someone please help me.

Er, what did the idiot who hit you have to say, particularly with regard to insurance coverage? If it was a hit and run, I'd probably just fix it myself to save the boomerang on your insurance rates. Sounds like a replacement fender, kickstand, and a good "twist" against an immovable object would probably get you squared-up again. Just measure things after the twist. (Ever have a mini-bike??)

Liability or not, have that f'er fix it. Police Report and all.
Post up some pics of the damage. Generally, the forks will twist in the clamps and prevent bending or other damage. Good luck with that.
