Hello everybody,
Just wanted to say hi and tell you a little about myself. I live in NJ and I got my drivers license a little less than month ago. I have been looking at the steps that involve getting my motorcycle license in the future.

Hey Brian welcome to the site. There are a lot of guys that have the KLX 250S bike in your area. Have you seen this bike yet? Come on you know that you want a bike that you can ride off road as well as on road too. 
Either that or if you are smaller the XT 225 is a nice bike, my wife loves hers.

Welcome to the Forums Brian. The first step is going to the DMV and getting a learners permit for the motorcycle license. After that I would suggest a Riders Safety Course. Good Luck.
