Very sweet project! Great job on it! Hope I can get my ole 77 lookin that good one of these days. I will try to get some pics of them up. The Fords had so many different looks compared to the other trucks out there. GM's were just blahhh looking.

A Little Update!

I was able to get the secondary shaft out without any real problems. I am having trouble getting the bolts off of the starter clutch but I will just get a vice and an impact driver so I don't tear it up. My rollers and push rods look good, but the springs are for sure the problem. Hopefully this is an easy fix!

I don't know what the difference is in my frame verse and actual KZ frame, but I left my motor in to do this so far and haven't had any real problems! Here are some photos of my progress!

Just waiting on my starter clutch rebuild kit to come in the mail!

But I've owned this 99 Dodge for nearly 10 years, and I love it. The motor will outlast me.

I love stuff that's old, take this Ghetto Blaster for example. I bought it in 1982, and it still works, everything works! Now where is that time machine so I can go back and find cassettes.

Haha yea back in the day. I do like that old Dodge you had. You dont see very many old Dodges. Especially nice ones. I like the winch set up you have! Lots of old Fords and GMs around here.

Well right now I am just trying to get it to a state that I can ride it a little! It is suppose to become my DD if I get it put together right!

Well an update got it back together no Oil leaks and it starts up and runs. Still idling high, but I am a little on the woozy side! So I am going to stop working on it for today. A side note though if your going to use a cheater bar, to help tighten up a custom foot peg, don't have your head between the pavement and the cheater bar! It might slip off and explode your head like a watermelon!

The dramatic approach is always best to take! I do feel bad because I scared the crap out of my boys. They didn't know what to do or think when there was blood gushing out of my head all of a sudden.

On another note, I did take the bike on a 2 hour ride yesterday! Man was it a blast! Had the clutch a hair to tight, and fixed that. Set my idle down so that my bike wasn't screaming at me, and just enjoyed the ride!
