I am using it to get around and i will have to take it a few miles on the highway but mostly for the streets

 

I would go for the 650r if it was me. But you forgot to tell us the price for it so not to sure on how good of a deal it is. But i don't think you would be disappointed with either bike that you finally get in the end.

 

the 06 is $4000

 

i don't think that's to bad of a price for the 650. It might be worth it since it has all of the mods on it.
