Whats up Kawasaki people? My name is Chris and I am going to pick up a 2006 KLX250 w/4000mi. What leads me to the Kawai is interesting. Back in 2005 I purchased my home in an area that is motorsports friendly....well supposed to be. At that time I also accosted my 05' Z400 quadsport. Being employed at the time, I also had the money to travel to ride my quad, pay @ riding areas, etc.. Finding out the hard way, my neighborhood is not so motorsports friendly via a couple of tickets. I also found out the joy stealing friend of the cops lives 3 houses down. Basically the typical too-much-time on my hands old man that thinks he owns the neighborhood. Keeping in mind when I got my tickets, it was a blizzard w/ 6+ of snow on the streets. I live 3 blocks from the lake and was trying to get there. So, I haven't ridden my quad in a year and have had no luck selling it. I figured I'm not going to give it away, so I will trade it for a DS. I had an 02' DR400s and sold it.On Sunday I am going to trade the quad for the KLX. I'll plate it and have no problems

Riding bikes for 24 years, I really miss the dirt bike aspect of riding. I have a 2008 Strom 650, but it has limited jumping/off road capabilities. Everyone likes a street legal dirt bike

Hey Chris welcome to the forums. You'll love the KLX. It uses the road to get to the trails. no trucking it. Well once in a while you need to truck it, but still. LOL
