Hello
Hi to you all.
Well I guess this is where I tell you a little about my bike and myself.
I've just brought myself a 2015 D'Tracker X (klx250sf) in Bali, Indonesia
It's got 12K on the odometer and is in good condition for a "Bali bike" but needs some TLC to get it back to its prime.
Down sides are : the cam chain has a loud rattle around 6500 rpm, the spokes are rusty, "road winner" tires are cracked on the side walls, and its got some gravel rash on the right side at some stage.
Up sides are : I love it, its got a Yoshi pipe on it, I can fix it.
So far I have had the entire bike wrapped in carbon fiber sticker vinyl with blue supermoto graphics on the wheels. And got them to add the words "Bule Gila" on the tank panels, which translates to "crazy foreigner", all for less than $30US . I lucked out so badly by scoring a factory set of new wheels for an absolute bargain price, timing is everything.
I live in New Zealand for about half the year, and the rest in Bali. I'm moving permanently to Bali in a couple of years as that's where my wife is from and its just a motorcycle hooligans paradise. In NZ I have a DRZ400SM and a heavily modified 1981 katana to keep me smiling.
I am here to reap the wisdom of this forum and learn about my new bike. Its my first Kawasaki and I need your knowledge to keep me on the road.
NZ doesn't have this model here so there are no resources for me in the local shops.
As soon as I can figure out the whole photo uploading deal, pics will follow
Thanks
