Greetings from the Sooner State

Hello all! I am a rider from Norman, Oklahoma. I am not normally a Kawasaki guy but I have owned one in the past. I am hoping you all will be able to help me with some wrenching problems I am having. There seems to be a lot of highly capable bike mechanics on here and I'd be glad of your help. I am about to get busy fixing a friends '87 KZ305 LTD. I hope you all can help.
I don't know if you guys like other bikes posted here but I'd like to share some pictures of my current ride - a '99 Honda CB750 Nighthawk; she's my favorite. Glad to be here. |

Welcome to the forums. ;)

If you're riding; it's all good. Welcome to the forums.
What kinds of problems with the LTD? (Might want to consider a fork brace on your Nighthawk. I always found the chassis to be a little wiggly in the twisties, at least on the old "F" series.) |

I found this fork brace but I couldn't really find any others. |
Yep. That's probably least invasive. You can also pull the headstock (triple) and put in fresh bearings, as well as fresh springs in the forks.
Your front tire is a wealth of information on this (and similar) bike. Watch for cupping, uneven wear, etc. and maintain good tire pressure. Tank slappers are not funny at any speed. |
Welcome to the KF Family!!!
