Welcome to the KF family. Now make sure you gear up (please don't be a stupid squid) and get yourself into a MSF course. You picked a good starter bike, because you're not going to get bored with it, nor do you get the feeling that it's just a springboard to a bigger bike, the way a lot of people feel about the 250R (which I personally disagree with, because I think everybody has a lot that the 250R could teach them) and you don't have the radical styling (for 1985) of the 500R.
