Default Financing!

Hi again Kawi members.
I'm 17years old and my brother is gonna help me to buy a ninja250 (Finanacing)
He is 20years old but problem is he don't have a job ..therefor he don't report any tax...
And I think I heard if your income is very low or you have no income,
the dealer won't let you finance a car/bike.
[Oh.. we do have income somehow... we just don't report tax ...lol]

I'm very nervous if we can't buy ..
Is there anyway to finanace a bike without using my parent's power??
(I can't use my parent ... there is private reason..)

I know 17years old with bike is veryvery dangerous and bothers study.
Yes, I do know but .. this was my dream for my whole life.
Please help.

But.. why "Cause its harder to finance than a car."??
bike is much cheaper than car so doesn't it have to be easiler ??

Depending on where you live... it's probably not going to be your primary mode of transportation. So like txredneckmedic said, it's conisdered a "luxury".

Welcome to the forums! Something else that you might need to consider - I don't know about you guys down in the US but here in Canada if you finance something you are typically required to carry specific levels of insurance too. Nice thing about a used bike that doesn't require financing - you can put whatever insurance you want on it.

I hope you are able to get a bike somehow - loads of fun! Good luck!

Tough one. I had a friend with a bankruptcy, and she couldn't get financed anywhere. She finally went to HelpMeRide financing, and they did it!! She financed around 6 g's, and have to have 15 large down, at 18%, but you might give it a try??? I asked for the website but she does not remember. Type "help me ride" in google, and she said it would pop up... worth a try.. GL man!!

You are right blubird, same thing here. She had to pay for gap with a low deductible. Her insurance is $1500 year!!!

If all else fails, maybe you can find a used one at a good price....
