Enjoying R&R (Retired and Riding)
Hello KF.
Just joined and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm an old timer who's been riding Japanese bikes from way back (mostly Honda's and Yamaha's). I recently retired (stateside career) and settled in northern Thailand. I didn't ship my bikes over from the states so had to find one here once settled in. Last month I came across what looked to be a decent deal on a Kawasaki Er6N 2009 so grabbed it. No regrets so far. I did all the fluid changes, chain cleaning/lube, etc. and all is looking good. I really like the "Candy Burnt Orange" color and have added mods like gear indicator and radiator grill guard.
I found this forum today while looking around for bike upgrade, mods, fixes, etc. and thought it would be good to join.
Other hobbies, interests (besides bikin') are, electronics projects, beach metal detecting, astronomy, (when I'm not doing house upkeep/repairs).

Thanks for the welcome! No I don't think I would ship one. Bikes are considerably more expensive here (new and used) but not enough to offset the enormous shipping costs, import taxes, etc. of getting one shipped over here.

Thanks for the welcome! Quite a few old fogies on here I take it? Nothing wrong with that as long as you keep waking in the morning and have a ride outside waiting for you.
