Default Dutchie with 2 and a half 1984 GPZ900R

Hi,

Harry is the name although my forum name is Red Eagle. I'm living in the Netherlands. I few years ago I bought a 1984 Gpz750R and was very happy with it. When I was not riding the bike, I was buying dismemberd and/or wrecked 1984 Gpz900R's. That way I collected a lot of spares of this model. Now, I'm rebuilding a Gpz900R out of the spares. The old Gpz900R is still (in Holland anyway) very cheap. Psssst... a secret! I know that a lot of people are buying old bikes like I did, just for the spares. They unbolt everything from the frame, clean this stuff and put it away for later replacement. The frames are disposed off and the licenceplates will be returned to the Dutch authorities to unregister the bike. R.I.P. I 'm convinced that, by doing so, the early Gpz900R's are getting pretty seldom, though nobody knows it.

Well, I hope I wil have a pleasant time on the forum and that I can get all the advice I need.

Harry
