I have got a 2011 W800 just got 500 miles on the clock . From day one I have had a intermittent fuel injection light come on. Currently my bike is back at the dealer who say it is a sub throttle body fault. just wondered if ant one else had suffered with the same problem.

Des, can't help w the FI light. I like bikes with good 'ol carburetors. Never really been impressed with dealer mechanics who seem to fix things which don't need fixing, and new problems suddenly appear when the bike comes home. If I can't fix it, I don't need it.

I could not agree more mate. carbs are the best way to go. Unfortunatly some git in Brussles thinks we need to save the planet so FI is stuck. I have still got a 59 plate ZX10 to loon around on. The dealer rang me this morning and says there is a problem with my FI on the W800. I told them this a week ago. My old 1260 GPZ aircooled mill with 38MM Mikuni flatslides never gave me any of this . going out for a play on the 10 now then off to work
Be lucky
