When i changed mine i used norub contact solution. I peeled back the grip alittle and squirted some in there and twisted it some. When part of it felt loose i stopped twisting and repeated the process until it slide off. Do the oppisite to put the new ones on. The only differnce putting them on is only do half twists right then back to the left. This way you alway have the part of the grip that you want to be showing only a half a twist away. Makes getting the final position easier.(alot eaiser) With the no rubsolution you dont need grip glue. Just let it sit overnight and you will be good to go. I have about 1200 miles on my grips and the didnt move or twist at all.(not even a little bit)

Hope this helps!!

Custom grips are great here is my method of installation.

Step 1, use a razor and cut old stock grips off and through in trash.

Step 2, use rubbing alcohol to clean clipons or bars. This is important don't use any oil based cleaner like WD. Rubbing Alcohol has worked the best for me.

Step 3, go get your gf's or your hair spray and with your new grips ready spray clipons with the hair spray.

Step 4, slid new cool *** grips in place and position. Let sit over night and your styling.

Good luck and post a picture of the new grips.

Nostock has the idea. My husband used a similiar method on mine and they worked perfectly. He too, razored off the old ones now I have red/black grips to go with the color scheme of the bike. Much nicer, and they are gel grips too, so much nicer on the hands.
