2022 Kawasaki Mule Pro-Fxt Ranch Edition - Engine Pinging
HELLO! I AM A NEW MEMBER. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED
Purchased new 2022 Kawasaki Mule Pro-Fxt Ranch Edition in May of this year (2022). Experienced engine pinging from the start. Only occurs at low speeds. Most noticeable when decelerating. Stops when engine gets good and warm. After reading manual, tried higher octane fuel. No help. Went through tanks of 89 octane and 93 octane (regular unleaded fuel with 10% ethanol). Cleaned plugs (Torch 7026) as part of first service. Now trying a tank of 91 octane recreational fuel with no ethanol. Is some better. Called dealer. They said they are researching the issue before they bring the vehicle in. Thought about trying NGK IFR6B11 plugs. Any experience or suggestions would be appreciated.
PS: Except for the above pinging issue, this vehicle runs great!
