Hello everyone i'am a new comer, working on a gpz 900r
and having some issues, i got oil blowing out of the
air breather, no not the air box, wondering if someone
can give me some info. Thanks

What is your oil level sight glass at? check the oil for gas (seepage from a bad float needle from the carbs)

 

the oil level was good, it was spitting out like it was mix with gas, but didn't think a float needle would cause it to blow out the breather hole. thanks

 

hmm, if the oil level is good, then I would not consider a float needle issue

 

Hmm is right, had it running before with no issues, because i took the carbs
off & clean out all the jets, and ran great, then two days later i go &
start it & thats when it started blowing out. Any other suggestion.

Have you checked your oil pressure yet?

38-47psi @4k rpm 194 deg F

Relief valve pressure 63-85psi

Start the engine and read the oil pressure gauge while running the engine at various speeds. A normal relief valve keeps the maximum oil pressure between the the readings listed above.

 

No i haven't yet but i'll check that out over the weekend. Thanks
