I just purchased 2001 kx250 & don't know the plug gap. Also, can the shock be lowered to fit him (14 yrs old)? Thanks

I've always used stock gap right out of the box on my 00 kx250. How tall is he? You can adjust the sag and if that's not enough order different linkage. (The 2 horizontal pieces under and between the shock) or just use a block to balance on at the start like some do at the races.
