Default leaky fork seal

I have a 2006 KX250F and the fork seals appear to be leaking. I was wondering if anyone has any details or suggestions on replacement. This would be only my second time ever replacing fork seals - it's been some years since the last time I did it. Any suggestions or tips would be much appreciated.

THANKS!!!

Welcome Nate! 2006 I would be thinking warranty!

If not an option check out www.raceteck.com

parts page http://www.racetech.com/evalving/eng...ngname=english

I have used them for my street bikes and I always see there shop full of dirt bikes as well.

The correct sized seal driver is kinda handy also. I have only done a couple of seals and bushing replacements also.

Is there a puddle on the floor? If so how big? I know on my '06 there would be a small puddle, if it is small take a tear off, or a "seal-mate" and clean out the seals, the dust covers on the '06 aren't known to be the greatest in keeping the dirt out, also try jacking the bike up and letting the excess pressure out of the forks, i do this after every moto, but you can do it as you seem fit. I maybe underestimating your problem here, but just thought I would try to help out before you go spendin all that money on new seals and such.
