85 Vs. 86 kx250

85 Vs. 86 kx250
I have a 1986 KX 250. Mostly. I think. It seems to me the 85 had a drum rear brake and black triple trees. Mine has a rear disc, but black triple trees. So, 86 bike, with 85 front forks? Is the difference steel Vs. Al?
