2009 KX250F Stalls once in awhile

2009 KX250F Stalls once in awhile
Hi folks
KX250F, 2009, stalls once in awhile. When it does, it can be tough to restart, bump start, and its normal. From there, it runs fine and starts fine. It can be ridden for 3 hours without it happening, or 20 mins at it happens.
Valve adjust perfect, plug newer, top end/lower newer gaskets (inspected engine when purchased). Idles good, plug burn is OK (not rich/lean), starts 1st or 2nd kick normally.
The mechanic in my tells me it's electric; I just hate tossing expensive parts at the bike. Not sure if there is a common electrical component that is known to go bogus. Thanks in advance.
