2008 KX250F Backfiring

Default 2008 KX250F Backfiring

Hi, I have a 2008 kx250f. When I ride I get a lot of backfire and also the acceleration is not smooth. I also get backfire just when revving. I have cleaned the carburetor and the valve clearance has been checked. I tried to find the fuel screw and all I see is like a screw but its flat, looks almost like a nail. (at the spot it shows in the manual) And when I'm idling the bike just goes off after a while, even with a high idle.

…running rich. To reach the air/fuel mixture screw, you have to remove the plug (what you see is not a nail head) that covers it for the factory. Do a forum search.
