I have 2011 KX250F, almost completely stock as far as the motor goes. as of about a week ago I wasn't able to start it with the kickstart anymore. If I bump start it, it will run fine and start first kick once it's warmed up. After I was done riding today, it was steaming and spewing coolant out of the drain hose from the radiators. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, or if it is a separate problem. The issue also started after I gave the bike a wash for the first time. PLEASE HELP!!!!

 

How long was it sitting? Gas has additives that will evaporate over time. If the bike sat for more than a couple weeks the gas in the float bowl may have gone bad. Drain the carb before starting or run it dry at the end of the ride. If the starting issue is daily try replacing the spark plug. My KLX650 did a similar thing. New plug and all was good again, The 650 was extremely affected by the gas thing. If it sat a week I'd have to drain the carb.
