Default 1986 kx 250 motor mount question (noob alert)

I bought an 86 kx 250 with a fresh rebuild. Ahem. Lotsa other stuff never got put back. The m8x75 that bolts the motor to the frame via the triangular brackets had no nut, but did have a nut as a spacer. Feh. Anybody know what that spacer should be? the nut didn't look big enough.

The bottom motor mount M8x100 was missing.

The thing ran when I picked it up, although he flooded it getting it started. Now i can't start it. The carb is fine, all stock, needle valve clip is at second ring from top, 340 main jet, new B9EG plug.

Seems like the kick starter gets like one rev outta the engine. That right?

TIA,

doug
