hi, i have a 2002 KX 125 and the engine has finally gone bang. i was just woundering where i could find a new one or weather a later model would fit (2003,2004 etc)

what do u mean by bang? like literally lol? are u sure you just don't need anew top end? That'd only run you about 90 bucks if you do it yourself...

 

My best advice for you is to check craigslist.com or ebay. As for another motor fitting I really don't have any clue. Just got back into riding and haven't really messed with them that much. Good luck.

 

no not just bang lol. im a car mechanic but like the inputshaft/main shaft or wat ever was snapped and also chewed my casing 2 bits lol. all because the person who i brought it off let his mate put all boycen perfmance clutch pistons etc and he didnt bother puting one of the two spigget bearings back in onto the shaft.
