Default klx300r vs klx300ds shock, unitrak, swongarm

Hi here. I'm thinking to upgrade rear suspension on my klx250s using klx300r (2020+) components to get more travel. I've checked catalogs and suspension on klx250s is exactly the same as klx300ds (2020+). Initially I was thinking the only difference between 300r and 300ds is shock. However I see that unitrak arm (the "triangle" one) and swingarm nmubers are different. I know that linkage rods have same length on both 300r and 300ds (119.5 mm). But numbers are different...

swingarm - klx300r: 33001-0710-458, klx300ds: 33001-0176-458
unitrak - klx300r: 39007-0433, klx300ds: 39007-0100

Does anyone know if there is any difference in swingarms and unitrak arms between klx300r and klx300ds?

It could be that the finish is different. A different color will have a different part number. You may already know it, but the best way to do the suspension is to have a performance shock service like Cogent rework the stock shock. Most riders find the results to be extremely good and near on par with aftermarket shocks. Costs less than replacing the shock and the build can be tailored to the rider's needs.

Thanks for tips. Unfortunately rebuilding the shock with custom components is not easy task in country I am. Also I think more travel would be nice to have riding single track (what I mostly do).

One other thought, the earlier pre-2009 KLX250/300 had longer travel front and rear. The odds are the forks will bolt on, but also possible the fork tubes might fit in the newer triple clamps. Some research on the shock and linkage might reveal how they get extra travel there too. Just another possibility for lower cost if you can find used.
