hello everybody!yesterday when i ride my klx at high rpm sudenly all electrical break down.no lights back&front no flash no horn!!..the bikes motor its still runing perfect after that but i cant use it at night!I checked all the wires -switches etc and its ok!!now i think that the problem is the regulator or the coils!i think KLX 300 R 97 MODEL has (Y) type coils!6 wires come out of the motor.2 are from the pickup coil.show the ather 4 come from coils..can one of the coils broke and the regulator is ok?please help.!!!!!!thanks!!

 

i found that two wires come out off the pickup coil and other two r-w from the coil to ignition.all this its ok because the bike still running.so the other two y-y come out off the lighting coil.i try to messure the resistance but was inf.!!this means that the lighting coil blows up.??this is my opinion.before i replace the stator i want to ask if its possible to check the regulator.i know testing three phase with 5 wires and single phase with four wires regulators.but klx 300 r 97 model got a regulator with only two wire!that is strange to me.so if anyone knows how to check it,it would be great.thanks!
