Hey there

i have a 03 300klx off roader. I went to put a Hid light kit for the headlight and it killed the ballast. i Tryed another one and it killed that also.

I thought this was because the stator is putting out A.C , but i have led trail lights on the back and they work fine , and only work on ac !!

Im confused . my bike has no battery
the HID light and ballast takes a 6amp start up current - cant the stock stator handle this for a start??

i tried wiring it like shown in this secondary diagram i created. but battery and rectifier got very hot so something was wrong
