Default How is this KLX 125 anyway??

I'm looking for a bike to teach some teenagers on. They've never ridden at all. I was looking for an all around decent woods bike. Just fun, no racing...

The short list is:

KLX 125L

TTR-125L

CRF 100 or 150 (or XR)

DRZ 125L

The KLX would look snappy in my garage with my '06 green KLR and my '07 green KLX 250s... but I know nothing about this little bike...

Is it okay? (is it a suzuki?)

Sheesh, never mind. I bought one already.

FWIW, the klx125L is a drz125L, only green. I found a very clean '04. It starts really easy and seems bulletproof, but then again I've only had it two days...[8D]

Good choice! I bought my son an 03 L model. He's 11 (85lbs). He loves it. Easy bike to maintain. I invested in some handguards (bark-busters), after replacing both levers, money well spent. Enjoy

Yeah good choice, The KLX 125L is a great bike to learn on, all the parts are easy to get to so it makes for easy maintnence and repair. My 05 model is great for trail riding and it can keep up nicly with my buddies who have yamaha, TTR 125's, and a honda CRF 230.

Yeah he is a beginner, and your right if the bike was in the right hands i wouldt have too much of a chance but the KLX 125L keeps up well in turns and it can take jumps nicly.
