Also where you at in Iowa. I was born in and spent my early days in a little town on the mississippi called Clinton Iowa. Man I miss those days. Nothing like a small town in the 60's to grow up in.

I also have a 2003 100th Anniversary Sportster in very rare Luxury Blue Pearl with laced wheels. I say that because that year they only painted 5% of all bikes in the pearl blue, pearl red, and pearl white. The other 95% are either black, gunmetal blue, or two-tone silver/black. One quick way to tell is the former have a cleared over 100th anniv. sticker on the tank, the latter got a big gaudy medallion on the tanks with a stripe on each side.

I grew up a long way from you, well not that far I guess after all it is Iowa. I grew up in southeast Iowa down by Ottumwa. I live in Des Moines now. Gotta love Iowa weather, snowing one day and 80 the next. Sunny and calm one minute and the next there is a whipping tornado coming at ya.

Rare .. but not THAT rare. I've seen more than a few of them. Maybe you should go visit this website: http://vb.foureyedpride.com/index.php and expand your knowledge.
I do believe they have production figures now - just ask - and BTW, there was a very nice one listed for sale earlier this week on there in the classifieds (out in Washington).

You will probably never see a car like this as they are that rare. I don't know the official build numbers, but I've only seen 2 others in my whole life and I've looked all over the 'net.

The Harley has pretty much just sat in my garage this summer since I bought the KLX in April.
