Default Yoshimura ST-1 Cams

A local guy is selling a pair of these. I can’t find much info on them. Anyone know what to expect from these? There’s a language barrier with the seller so his explanation isn’t helping.

First off, make sure Yoshimura makes an ST-1 cam set. If you can't understand the seller it might be he could make a mistake in what they are for. Then look at the Yoshimura site and see what they claim. Contact them if necessary.

I'd rather make sure the parts will fit. Plus I would recommend you buy using PayPal so you have recourse if the parts aren't what they are claimed to be.

You didn't mention what bike you have. Have you looked at the Yoshimura website to verify that they make cams for your bike?

I had looked at Yosh when this thread started and only saw reference to a D-Tracker, which if I recall, is a KLX. Details looked kind of vague. I'm suspecting these cams were more of a deal for the Asian market.

D-tracker is a KLX sort of supermoto, but hints of flat track at the time. Either way. I'd contact Yoshimura if I really want to know what the cams are like.

Oh...I thought he meant Taiwan, New Mexico. LOL!...No, I missed that in his post. Yeah, that Asian market has a lot of stuff we never see.

Yeah, taiwan! The seller had these on his KLX. I didn’t ask which year, but most things I’ve seen here for the D-tracker appears to fit the klx. (Maybe same/very similar engine?)

But glad you brought up the d-tracker. I should have thought to search d-tracker and not klx. Will search for that now and see what I come up with.
