Default Year round riding

Just curious, how many people ride their KLX year round? This is my first year with a street bike. Ive rode dirt bikes in the winter, once I even found the only patch of ice in a 50 mile radius and broke my knee cap.

I ride my bike everyday, unless its pouring down rain. I still remember the only time I laid my bike down, it had rained the night before, then froze, I was taking it real slow to work which is only 2 miles from my house, when I turned off the highway going less than 2 miles an hour, the wheels slid out as if someone had a rope on my bike and I slid with the bike for about 15 ft. I did the splits, but held onto the bike, got up, and not a sratch on me or the bike. I have to ride my bike now more than ever, as I can't afford to drive my Dodge deisel until things change or its paid for.

I understand you, my car is a 1998 trans am with lots of upgrades. With the AC on about 15 mpg and it only runs on premuim. It was the main reason I bought the bike.

I ride most of the year also. I'm up in the Sonoma County area of California and other than heavy rain from time to time during the winter, it's great riding weather year round.

BTW, nice pic Deej! :-)

Off topic - Deej, is your rear fender stock or after market? I also like the rack. It's a much cleaner look than my stock 2009 fender.

Its the stock fender for the 2006 KLX I just got rid of all the ugly stuff hanging down, changed out the tail light. The rack came with the bike. I don't know if that would work for the 09, plus I don't think the stock 06 fender comes in red, unless your bike is green, but chances are the greens have changed in 2 years. Not sure man. Sorry.
